Our first Ribbon Ridge estate, owned by the Hill family and farmed by Bergström Wines in partnership since planting in 2006, Pinot Noir from Le Pré du Col is known for its aromatics of spice and woods, silky texture and age-worthy structure. The Chardonnay boasts briny salinity with citrus and floral notes in abundance.

Like the Silice Chardonnay, the Le Pré Chardonnay also has a greenish-white, golden hue, which speaks of its promise for the future. There is so much Oyster shell, sea brine (salty, saline sea breeze) and flowery smells of wisteria, jasmine, and lilac. It is very Chablis-like on the nose with lemon, lime, citrus oils, and spice. The wine is bright and citrusy in flavor with a sweet, honeysuckle character, and is bursting with orchard fruits. Tangy and mouthwatering, it has great, bright acidity to balance citrus and orchard fruits. The wine closes out with a lovely sweetness, glycerol, and fabulous texture. This is a fantastic bottle of wine. Drink Now - 2031+. Alcohol: 13.25%
