Our original estate and our family’s North Star located in the iron-rich volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills. The Bergström Vineyard is 13 acres of south and southeast facing vines bathing in the cool northerly sunlight and overlooking the expansive and rich Willamette Valley stretching south for one hundred miles. Optimum elevation and exposure provides ideal ripening potential for our most powerful, yet elegant expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, annually adorned with flowers, fruit, savory herbs and spices, and ferrous minerals.

In the glass it is classic looking robe of youthful gold. Meursault madness! This is the Chardonnay that I have always wanted to make! It is beautifully silky and honeysuckle sweet with classic, reductive, fresh-struck gun flint, citrus rind, preserved lemon, hazelnut, salty oyster shell, and wood smoke. The wine is generous and fresh with great toasty notes on top of citrus fruits, a floral bouquet, and with a distinct mineral structure; delicious. The finish on the Bergström Vineyard Chardonnay is so long and complex and has such a big future ahead. Drink Now - 2031+. Alcohol: 13.15%
