Our Homage Pinot Noir is an assemblage of our finest wine barrels from each vintage, beginning in 2008. The Homage label is our heartfelt tribute to all of the friends and mentors, grape farmers and winemakers--both living and departed-- who have helped Bergstrom Wines become what it is today. A portion of the proceeds from our Homage label are donated to ¡Salud!, a collaboration between Oregon winemakers and the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, working to provide access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.
Josh Bergström's Notes
2010 Homage marks our third vintage of Homage and it is perhaps our finest to date. Not only does this wine epitomize the greatness of the 2010 vintage, but it also showcases the Bergström style at its best. With a dark ruby, true Burgundy red color, the 2010 Homage opens with sappy aromas of dark cherry liqueur, black raspberry, bacon and dark resin as well as a strong blueberry pie element with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and compote. The aromas echo in the mouth with extravagantly suave flavors of raspberries, blackberries and sweet baking spices. These flavors and textures are rich and compelling with silky smooth, fine ripe tannins that will allow this wine to age very gracefully. Only 150 cases produced! Drink Now - 2023+. Alcohol: 13.5%
