One of the great wine properties of the New World, and a wonderful partner of Bergström Wines for 17 vintages. Dick and Dierdre Shea, and their 140-acre vineyard with its endless micro-climates and inch-thin sandy soils consistently produce exceptional Pinot Noir fruit for 20+ of the best wineries in Oregon. Bergström Wines has historically purchased fruit from six different clonal blocks, totaling 16 acres.

Ruby red in color, bursting with red cherries, rhubarb preserves, and sassafras. With several years of bottle age, it is beginning to show signs of tertiary complexities, with elevated notes of dried cranberries and tobacco leaf. The palate is layered with dark chocolate, cardamom, and red fruits. Its texture exudes the richness of a savory red pepper chutney. There is ample structure, and it will benefit from further bottle aging, allowing for further tannic evolution.

This wine defines the direction we have taken towards delicacy and elegance in crafting wine from such a powerfully structured vineyard site.
A light, bright, and beautiful ruby-red color with has a lifted aromatic perfume of tart cherry pastilles, violets, rhubarb, pomegranate, wild cane berries, mint, and tomato leaf. There is also a hint of incense, rare woods, and savory herb garden. Silky in texture with a layered mouthfeel of textural, ripe, and fine tannins with copious amounts of fruit and spice and notes of red cherry, bakers chocolate, cola, tobacco, tomato jam, and baking spices. Bright, youthful, and focused. Will age gracefully for 7+ years. Drink Now - 2025+. Alochol: 13.8%
