Our first Ribbon Ridge estate, owned by the Hill family and farmed by Bergström Wines in partnership since planting in 2006, Pinot Noir from Le Pré du Col is known for its aromatics of spice and woods, silky texture and age-worthy structure. Josh Bergström's Notes
White gold with a youthful green, chlorophyll tint. A wonderful oceanic saline influence guides this wine’s perfume; crushed oyster shell and sea breeze accompanied by playful floral aromas of lily of the valley and jasmine with sweet notes of banana marshmallow candies, golden delicious apple, and pear. Lively flavors of apple, pear, and Meyer lemon. A finish of marine saltiness makes me want to use it as a mignonette for a sweet, small-cupped, raw oyster. Great purity, fruity sweetness, and spice on a vibrant frame. Only 2 barrels produced. Drink 2021-2030+. Alcohol: 13.3%
