Our Homage Pinot Noir is an assemblage of our finest wine barrels from each vintage, beginning in 2008. The Homage label is our heartfelt tribute to all of the friends and mentors, grape farmers and winemakers--both living and departed-- who have helped Bergstrom Wines become what it is today. A portion of the proceeds from our Homage label are donated to ¡Salud!, a collaboration between Oregon winemakers and the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, working to provide access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.

Ruby garnet in color, showing there has been nice evolution in the bottle. Deep and complex aromatics of oyster shells, sea breeze, salted fruit candies, Turkish delight, and beef bouillon greet you immediately. It reveals blackberry pie, coffee, brownie, and tobacco smoke with a few swirls in the glass or decanter. The palate boasts Chinese Five-spice and dried herbs. Quite complex and rich. Sweet, refined, and chewy tannins lend body and grip to this powerful wine with a lovely texture and a juicy finish. Quite bright in the mid-palate. Drink Now.
Notes from Original Release in 2018
A lovely reduced aromatic profile of mushroomy earth, incense, wood spice, chocolate, blueberry fruit, and Chinese five spice. There is great delineation on the palate with a core of sweet fruit in the middle and a salty-spicy finish with savory herbal notes.
