Our original estate and our family’s North Star located in the iron-rich volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills. The Bergström Vineyard is 13 acres of south and southeast facing vines bathing in the cool northerly sunlight and overlooking the expansive and rich Willamette Valley stretching south for one hundred miles. Optimum elevation and exposure provides ideal ripening potential for our most powerful, yet elegant expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, annually adorned with flowers, fruit, savory herbs and spices, and ferrous minerals.

Whether for Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, the Bergström Vineyard is always about power and finesse. This is no exception. A lovely green and golden hue. Opens with a panoply of aromas driven by hazelnut, lemon peel, struck flint, toasted French oak, saffron, and vanilla bean. On the palate, it is tensile and wound up with a powerful core of minerality. Like it’s Pinot Noir counterpart, it will take years to unpack all the aromas and flavors that, like a peacock’s tail, remain hidden, waiting to unfurl when the time is right.
