2023 Ribbon Ridge Rosé
Pinot Noir Rosé
Ribbon Ridge AVA
We believe that the best Rosé wines are intentionally made by selecting vineyard parcels from our best vineyards on the Ribbon Ridge AVA (Le Pré du Col and La Spirale). The Ribbon Ridge AVA, with its 60-million-year-old marine sedimentary sands on top of compressed sandstone and shale bedrock, is known for producing Pinot Noirs of extreme elegance, and always with marine-driven saline saltiness.
Our fruit is hand-picked and whole cluster pressed when the natural acidity is at its most succulent and when the sugar level in the fruit will yield balanced alcohol levels so that our wines are bright and youthful with fresh fruit aromas and flavors.
Rosé crafted with this level of intention is a rarity in every sense of the word.
Winemaker Notes
Updated April 2024
It is a subtle salmon blush color. Playful and effusive, it features fresh Hood strawberries, sweet tangerine, and floral elderflower tea—medium-bodied, lively acidity. The palate is light incense spice, floral, and fruity, with undertones of chamomile and melon. Thirst-quenching, sophisticated, and exciting.
