Our Homage Pinot Noir is an assemblage of our finest wine barrels from each vintage, beginning in 2008. The Homage label is our heartfelt tribute to all of the friends and mentors, grape farmers and winemakers--both living and departed-- who have helped Bergstrom Wines become what it is today. A portion of the proceeds from our Homage label are donated to ¡Salud!, a collaboration between Oregon winemakers and the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, working to provide access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.
Josh Bergström's Notes
Crafted from the four finest barrels that emerged from a thrilling vintage, our annual tribute to the collaborative spirit of the Oregon winemaking community is a real stunner. A vibrant ruby-red color with hints of violet and purple. Aromatically gorgeous with whole-cluster aromas of savory grape stem, sandalwood, potpourri, cherry candy pastilles, wild strawberries, violets, red roses, lavender, and sweet baking spices. Pure and balanced on the palate with delicious blueberry, dark cherry, strawberry, and blackberry fruit flavors all framed by sweet and toasty oak and baking spices like cardamom and clove. Silky, suave, and gracefully powerful with a juicy finish of fresh and natural acidity, saline minerality, and a fine tannic structure. Will drink lovely now and age well. Drink Now – 2030. Alcohol: 12.5%.
