Our original estate and our family’s North Star located in the iron-rich volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills. The Bergström Vineyard is 13 acres of south and southeast facing vines bathing in the cool northerly sunlight and overlooking the expansive and rich Willamette Valley stretching south for one hundred miles. Optimum elevation and exposure provides ideal ripening potential for our most powerful, yet elegant expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, annually adorned with flowers, fruit, savory herbs and spices, and ferrous minerals.

Josh Bergström's Notes
Delicate golden in color with a youthful green, chlorophyll tint. Aromas of roasted hazelnut, citrus blossom, fresh lemon, and candied lime fruit with a stony and flinty mineral note all wrapped up in a whiff of toasty oak spices. Seamless texture flows through its juicy acidity and its mineral tannic structure with notes of sweet citrus fruits, orchard flowers, honeysuckle, and juicy green apple. Chardonnay from the Bergström Vineyard is just as classic and powerful of an example of varietal as its red Pinot Noir counterpart. This is a great wine in the making. Only 3 barrels produced. Drink 2022 - 2030+. Alcohol: 13%.
