Fruit sourced from the Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria, CA.
A burgundy, black cherry color. This wine is loaded with qualities that mirror how I would describe some of my favorite pizzas!: soppresata, pepperoni, fennel sausage, savory herbs, pepper, and briny olives. Adding complexity and lift are notes of tomato leaf, sanguine iron and elegant lilac. Full-bodied, gorgeously ample, lush, and full of savory personality. I highly recommend pairing it with comfort foods like pizza or grilled bacon burgers, but it will also pair effortlessly with grilled bone-in meats, roasted game, and any savory stew with olives and herbs. Drink 2023-2028+. Alcohol: 13.3%.
