Winery Block: A Bergström Wines Estate

At only 1.3 precious acres of vines, planted as densely as we dare, and farmed entirely by hand, the Winery Block Vineyard is more a bonsai garden of vines than a traditional vineyard. A beautiful color of black raspberry leads to a complex cologne-like aromatic bouquet of cedar wood, incense, sweet and savory spices, citrus oils, freshly turned earth, smoke, and savory herbs from the 100% whole-cluster fermentation.
The wine is bright and tangy, with a distinguished briny, salty swath of natural, juicy acidity which frames its bright, red fruit flavors. It is soft and plush, with ample acidity keeping the wine lively and intriguing, and the use of no new oak keeps the wine focused on its elegance and terroir expression, heightened by a tight-knit, fine tannic structure. Drink 2022 - 2032+. Alcohol: 12.9%
