Winery Block: A Bergström Wines Estate
Planted 2002-2005 * Chehalem Mountains AVA * Elevation: 400ft
At only 1.3 precious acres of vines, planted as densely as we dare, and farmed entirely by hand, the Winery Block Vineyard is more a bonsai garden of vines than a traditional vineyard. Aromatically explosive 100% whole cluster Pinot Noirs that are richly structured and with an exotic spicy bouquet. A few years of patient cellaring are always rewarded. Learn more about Winery Block
Winemaker Notes
*updated April 2025
Earthy, plum, acai, black cherry, tomato jam, dried sweet pepper, but does not overshadow the other aromatics of Rooibos tea, stem spice, sumac, cardamom spice, low tones forest floor, cranberries, huckleberry tart. The body is teeming with dried black cherries and figs. Flavors are layered and complex with brooding tannins.
