Planted by the Koo family, and managed by Dai Crisp since ’99. Temperance Hill is perched at the very top of the Eola-Amity Hills with unrelenting wind gusts from the Van Duzer wind gap. These Pinots have an aromatic potpourri of berries, citrus fruits, pine, cannabis, and peppercorns.

Exhibiting a noble reduction, this wine opens with elegant, effusive aromas of potpourri, dark chocolate, coffee, and pastry crust, complemented by notes of cane fruit, strawberry conserve, and sweet roses. A distinct ferrous, iron-rich character adds depth. Shifting gracefully into tertiary territory, it reveals earthy undertones of savory tobacco spice and dried strawberries. Light-bodied with fine, delicate tannins, it offers a beautifully balanced finish. Ready to be enjoyed now.
