Our Homage Pinot Noir is an assemblage of our finest wine barrels from each vintage, beginning in 2008. The Homage label is our heartfelt tribute to all of the friends and mentors, grape farmers and winemakers--both living and departed-- who have helped Bergstrom Wines become what it is today. A portion of the proceeds from our Homage label are donated to ¡Salud!, a collaboration between Oregon winemakers and the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, working to provide access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.

The 2013 Homage Pinot Noir is red cherry in color with a slight hue of brick but remains youthful in appearance. The wine exhibits a completely intoxicating aromatic complexity of incense, Asian spices, chutneys, pipe tobacco/cigar box, mushrooms, and sweet, dark-fruited pies. The 2013 Homage Pinot Noir washes silkily over the palate with waves of berry sweetness and floral aromas. This is probably my favorite older Homage Pinot Noir vintage simply for its complexity and old-world stature. The wine finishes off with great, youthful tannins, like an ageing Barolo, which promise several years of potential drinking pleasure to come for this wine.Drink 2025-2030. Alcohol: 13.0%
