2012 Cumberland Reserve Pinot Noir

2012 Cumberland Reserve Pinot Noir

Retail: $42.00
Quintessence: $35.70
Premiere: $33.60

We have bottled a Cumberland Reserve Pinot Noir since 2001, making it the longest running wine in our portfolio. Often referred to as our business-card wine, this wine is our most popular Oregon Pinot Noir in restaurants across the United States and internationally. This blend of our five estate-farmed vineyards showcases Oregon’s cool climate at its best, showcasing the telltale spiciness, earth and mineral characteristics and fresh fruit of Oregon Pinot Noir, as well as the Bergström style of concentration balanced with age-worthy tannic structure. The 2012 Bergström Wines Cumberland Reserve is black raspberry in color with a great aromatic triumvirate or earth, spice and fresh fruit. The full-bodied flavors are also highly aromatic with sweet purple violets, Oregon matsutake mushrooms, black cherries, licorice and cinnamon spice. There is great natural acidity here that will keep the fruit fresh and vibrant against a fine-grained veil of ripe, sweet tannins for 5-7+ years.
