The Bergstrom Wines 2013 Le Pré du Col Pinot Noir is dark cherry red in color and has perhaps our most Burgundy-inspired aromas of mushroom and forest floor, wild red and dark fruits and a savory salty culinary type of influence of meat, spices, brown sugar and the tell-tale Le Pre du Col cinnamon red-hot cherry candies.
This wine has great mineral cut and juicy mouthwatering natural acidities with very fine tannins. The wine is very spicy and sweet in the mouth with a slight hint of reduction, mushrooms and red fruits.
Always a staff and sommelier favorite it is a great vintage for this vineyard that is going from strength to strength as the vines mature and all 16 acres are now producing.
