Our Homage Pinot Noir is an assemblage of our finest wine barrels from each vintage, beginning in 2008. The Homage label is our heartfelt tribute to all of the friends and mentors, grape farmers and winemakers--both living and departed-- who have helped Bergstrom Wines become what it is today. A portion of the proceeds from our Homage label are donated to ¡Salud!, a collaboration between Oregon winemakers and the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, working to provide access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.
Josh Bergström's Notes
Light red-cherry in color with a slight burgundy tint. Powerful aromas of dark black fruits, wood smoke, pencil lead, French oak, toasty spices, cola, rum, black licorice, and sassafras. Rich and ripe with dark-fruit flavors and a great texture that is unctuous and speaks of the warm vintage. This wine is showing its decadence now and boasts a long finish of ripe plums and spices.
