2011 marks the fourth release of our flagship Wine Club-only Pinot Noir. A careful selection of the greatest barrels in our cellar, Homage is our heartfelt tribute to the men and women of the Oregon wine industry and all those who have helped us along our way. Showcasing a deft balancing act for the 2011 vintage between great ripeness and brilliant acidity and ripe tannins, this Homage is built for the long haul. With
a vibrant, deep hue of black cherry and perfume of purple violets, candied cherries, black raspberry compote and Oregon matsutake mushrooms, this floral and sweet- fruited wine gives way to a fantastic mouthfeel that is ripe yet restrained and poignant, demonstrating tremendous breed and potential for great things to come. Flavors of rasp-berries, cinnamon candies, plums and spicy graham crackers are wound up tightly and made mouthwatering by a natural acidity and tannic backbone that creates an impression of succulence and vibrancy. This wine is young now but has enormous promise for the future. Drink 2015-2025+
